  • VINYL sales set a record for the Soundscan© era at 1.9 million units sold for 2008. Radiohead claimed top honors with 61,200 vinyl albums sold. [5]
  • TWICE.COM®: 10.7 million stand alone Blu-Ray disc players and Playstation® 3 gaming consoles have shipped to retail since the formats launch 2.5 years ago, in comparison for the standard DVD player launch only 5.4 million players shipped to retail over its first 3 years. Nearly 1100 Blu-Ray titles are now available in the US market with "The Dark Knight" being the first Blu-Ray disc to register 1 million sales. [6]
